No to War, No to Aggression, No to the Waste of Human Lives!
We are the women of Iraq — women of a country exhausted by wars and burdened with heavy losses.
We reject the ongoing war and condemn aggression in all its forms and justifications, from any side.
At a time when people everywhere are yearning for peace and an end to the growing number of conflicts — conflicts that could be resolved through dialogue and negotiation — Israel continues its aggression, blatantly disregarding the principles of humanity and international law.
Imposing realities on the ground by force does not bring peace; it only opens new doors to destruction. Israel has taken advantage of stalled negotiations between two sovereign states to launch a full-scale assault with no real justification.
By waging this war, Israel reaffirms the law of the jungle — where those with destructive weapons impose their will. This is especially true in our region, already overwhelmed by crises and complex challenges. And it is women who pay the highest price for these daily hardships: striving to protect their homes, consumed by anxiety and fear for their children, and working tirelessly to secure safe lives for their families.
We, the Iraqi women, call for an immediate end to the aggression and a return to the negotiating table. Solutions can only come through unconditional negotiations that respect people’s rights and uphold human dignity. We also call on the international community to take moral responsibility and pressure aggressors to respect the rights of nations and their peoples to live freely and with dignity. Weapons do not build a future — only negotiation can safeguard rights and humanity.
