Israel Launches War on Iran, Maintains Arrogance andDisregard for Regional Nations

Israel, backed by the United States, has launched a war on Iran. Despite growing global outrage and widespread public and official condemnation of Israel’s aggression and ongoing war on Gaza, Israel has now managed to extend its military campaign to Iran. With the full support of the United States, it continues to kill civilians, displace populations, and starve communities. This latest escalation is yet another example of the reckless use of force and the destruction of human life under the guise of “defending Israel” and eliminating Iran’s “nuclear threat.”
We affirm our support for the total elimination of nuclear weapons worldwide and call for the creation of a world rooted in peace and security. But who appointed the United States as the world’s policeman to decide which nations may or may not possess nuclear weapons? The United States itself, alongside Israel, Russia, Pakistan, and India, holds such weapons. Why is it acceptable for some countries to have them, while others are denied that right? Who wrote the rules that govern these “rights”?
The war waged by the United States and Israel is not about peace or security for the region’s peoples. It is a clear effort to impose U.S.-Israeli militarism and dominance across the region.
We, at the Aman Women Alliance, alongside millions across the region and the world, express our deep anger and condemnation of this U.S.-Israeli war. We call for urgent international action to stop Israel’s expansionist aggression and the threat it poses to millions of people. We demand an immediate end to all forms of complicity and political and military support for Israel.
We also urge the international community and human rights organizations to take firm and decisive positions against this terror-based approach and to stand in defense of the universal right to peace and security.
We must collectively oppose the policies of the United States and Israel, which have unilaterally appointed themselves as the “police and military” of the region, controlling the fate of its people.
